NEWS UPDATE: London Film Fest Drops AIDS Doc ‘Positive Hell,’ as ‘Vaxxed’ Backlash Hits Houston, L.A. Screenings Sell Out, NYC Gets Second Week
April 10, 2016–Telling people not to see an alarming public-health documentary may not be the best strategy to kill it. Perhaps emboldened by recent American censorships of Vaxxed: From Coverup to Catastrophe, the London International Film Festival has pulled AIDS documentary Positive Hell, according to veteran journalist, author and filmmaker Joan Shenton. (We reported on the film in Episodes 72 and 96, and posted a link to a discussion on “The Progressive Film Hour.“) The festival organizer admitted he acted under pressure from LGBT student groups at the university where he teaches.

Please, you’ll feel better if you don’t. . . . it’ll hurt others’ feelings . . . don’t even think about it . . . you’re not thinking about it, are you? Mind Police! Open up!) UPDATE, September 8, 2016–It happened again. Another London film festival pulled Positive Hell from its lineup, this time the Portobello. What kind of a “science” needs to bully dissenting scientists, smear reputations, misrepresent the content of films, books and articles, and actually warn people not to see, read or listen to these points of view? Unnamed “scientific experts” and their media lapdogs have done exactly these things to censor an important documentary film on vaccine safety, slated to screen at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival in New York, Vaxxed: From Coverup to Catastrophe.
The pulling of the film occurred after film producer Del Bigtree gave ABC News THIS FULL 10-MINUTE INTERVIEW, as posted by Mike Adams at ‘Natural News,’ but the network used a mere 5 seconds in its report.

Monday, March 28, 2016 – How far will drug companies and U.S. government-funded scientists go to stop criticism of vaccines? Has a leading American actor been threatened?
On Sunday, actor and Tribeca Film Festival founder Robert De Niro removed Dr. Andrew Wakefield’s documentary film Vaxxed: From Coverup to Catastrophe from this year’s official selections. Only one day earlier, De Niro had bravely defended the film’s inclusion without specifically endorsing its views.
In a 10-minute video available on YouTube, investigative reporter Liam Scheff draws a parallel between the censorship of this film about vaccinations and autism and how alternative views of “AIDS” are also suppressed. (He has posted some valuable links there as well.) Continue reading »
