April 10, 2016–Telling people not to see an alarming public-health documentary may not be the best strategy to kill it. Perhaps emboldened by recent American censorships of Vaxxed: From Coverup to Catastrophe, the London International Film Festival has pulled AIDS documentary Positive Hell, according to veteran journalist, author and filmmaker Joan Shenton. (We reported on the film in Episodes 72 and 96, and posted a link to a discussion on “The Progressive Film Hour.“) The festival organizer admitted he acted under pressure from LGBT student groups at the university where he teaches.

Comments (4)Episode 32: Dr. David Rasnick
David Rasnick is a PhD biochemist and a long time critic of the HIV=AIDS dogma. He is a member of the board of Rethinking AIDS and was responsible for initiating its revitalization in 2005/6. He graduated from Georgia Tech with his PhD in 1978 based on research into proteases and his career was based on working with these enzymes. This gives him a unique insight into the drugs known as protease inhibitors introduced in the mid-1990s and a part of most HAART (Highly Active Antiretrovial Therapy) ‘cocktails’.
Comments (5)Episode 12: AIDS Censorship
This is the last full episode that Christine Maggiore participated in, taped on December 2, 2008. In it, experienced LA journalist Bob Navarro describes the firestorm of criticism when he published US government statistics noting a decline in AIDS cases. “Not allowed!” screamed the AIDS dogmatists. Christine also expresses, both overtly and implicitly, how much the “How Positive Are You?” podcast meant to her.
