October 20, 2016–Responding to the dropping of the short “AIDS” documentary Positive Hell from London’s Portobello Film Festival last month, New York City gay bookstore Bluestockings will screen the film this coming Saturday, October 22, from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. (Details HERE; full press release HERE.)
Also to be screened is Positive Hell director and narrator Joan Shenton’s previous film, Positively False: Birth of a Heresy. Barnett J. “Bud” Weiss, an organizer of the former HEAL-New York group, will lead the post-film discussion of this important historical document tracing the AIDS-dissident movement. April 10, 2016–Telling people not to see an alarming public-health documentary may not be the best strategy to kill it. Perhaps emboldened by recent American censorships of Vaxxed: From Coverup to Catastrophe, the London International Film Festival has pulled AIDS documentary Positive Hell, according to veteran journalist, author and filmmaker Joan Shenton. (We reported on the film in Episodes 72 and 96, and posted a link to a discussion on “The Progressive Film Hour.“) The festival organizer admitted he acted under pressure from LGBT student groups at the university where he teaches.

What kind of a “science” needs to bully dissenting scientists, smear reputations, misrepresent the content of films, books and articles, and actually warn people not to see, read or listen to these points of view? Unnamed “scientific experts” and their media lapdogs have done exactly these things to censor an important documentary film on vaccine safety, slated to screen at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival in New York, Vaxxed: From Coverup to Catastrophe.
The pulling of the film occurred after film producer Del Bigtree gave ABC News THIS FULL 10-MINUTE INTERVIEW, as posted by Mike Adams at ‘Natural News,’ but the network used a mere 5 seconds in its report.

On Sunday, actor and Tribeca Film Festival founder Robert De Niro removed Dr. Andrew Wakefield’s documentary film Vaxxed: From Coverup to Catastrophe from this year’s official selections. Only one day earlier, De Niro had bravely defended the film’s inclusion without specifically endorsing its views.

The case was dismissed in 2011. David Crowe discusses the appeal of this dismissal with Celia and her lawyer, Andrew T. Miltenberg.
One of the pieces of evidence in the case was an email Richard Jefferys sent to the Semmelweis Foundation, after he discovered Celia Farber and Peter Duesberg were about to receive a whistleblower award:

If you were to ask about the major critics of the first AIDS drug AZT the guest from Episode 29, Dr. Peter Duesberg, would come to mind, but also this week’s guest John Lauritsen. Before criticizing AZT John was one of the leading members of the gay community warning about the omnipresent “gay” drugs known as Poppers or Amyl Nitrite inhalants. John is a thorough and dogged researcher and his articles for “New York Native” are legendary, especially those that were used in the book, “AZT: Poison by Prescription” (out of print but available online).

David Crowe and Terry Michael interview Dr. Peter Duesberg who is probably the best known AIDS rethinker. Peter is a professor of molecular and cell biology at the University of California at Berkeley and a pioneer in retrovirus research. Prior to 1987 he was one of the best funded and most hightly respected researchers within the virology establishment. Everything changed in 1987 when he published a major scientific paper in the journal “Cancer Research” detailing his theory that HIV couldn’t do anything, let alone cause AIDS.
