This time, the scary outbreak-of-the-year may well be a real condition. Doctors in Brazil have noticed a dramatic increase, since August-September 2015, in “pinhead babies” – infants born with shrunken heads and other brain damage, a tragic condition called microcephaly. But is a virus really causing the outbreak?
